U6/U7: Monday 13, 20, 27 Sep & 4 Oct 6pm-7pm

U8/U9: Tuesday 14, 21, 28 Sep & 5 Oct 6pm-7:30pm

U10/U11:  Wednesday 15, 22, 29 Sep & 6 Oct 6pm-7:30pm

Members: $20 per player. Non-Members: $40 per player

Field 2 & 3 cricket net ends are still closed to training. Fields are open for training tonight for all teams that normally train Thursday night NO MAKE UP TRAINING. If you train on the closed areas please find me and I will find a area for you to train

Hi All

As of 9am this morning all fields are still closed to all training. There is still a lot of surface water on the fields as you can see in the photo that i took at 9am. I would be surprised that they will dry out today with this cloud cover but i will go down at about 3pm and take another look. If the fields are open i will post it ,otherwise fields will stay closed tonight.

Fields are still closed for training. Field 2 & 3 are very, very wet. At least the forecast is for no more rain, so let’s hope they dry out quickly now.

As this weekend is the last Junior fixture weekend, Football Brisbane are requiring us to play all fixtures by Sunday 29 Aug. We did request that last weekend’s postponed games be scheduled next week (to give the fields more time to dry out) – but Football Brisbane have not allowed this as they want to advise teams of final positions by Monday 30 Aug.

This means that ALL Junior & Senior fixtures (including rescheduled fixtures) will be going ahead on Field 1 during this week and the coming weekend – please contact your team manager to find out when your match from last weekend has been rescheduled (as soon as FB advise us, the email will be forwarded to the team manager) . Field 1 is draining much better than Field 2 & 3, and will have the summer season to recover.

The field condition will be checked every day this week – please check the web-site about 4:30-5pm each day for updates. If there is no new message – fields remain closed.

As we have Challenge Cup on the weekend and need all playing fields to be in good condition all of our fields are closed until further notice. We are looking into why our fields are holding so much water and not drying out

Due to the wet weather, all fields at Mooroondu are closed for Friday 20 August and Saturday 21 August. NO GAMES for any age groups.

For U11-U16 and Seniors games, Managers will be advised of what happens with rescheduling once we hear from Football Brisbane.

Please note the following field changes for the next two weeks:
Sat 21 Aug: U10 – Field 5; All Juniors – Field 1
Sat 28 Aug: U10 – Field 5 (Bandicoots v Wallabies now at 10am); All Juniors – Field 1

All places in the carnival are now full. If you would like to go on the standby list, please email janelle@mooroondufc.org.au. Pre-purchase ridebands for $20 at the clubhouse on Saturday mornings, or using the form:   Challenge Cup 2010 – Ride Pass Pre-Purchase (email and internet banking preferred). On the day, ridebands $25 and tickets $4.

Fixtures and Mooroondu volunteer roster will be emailed to team contacts next weekend.
